Which image formats can I use?
Supported formats depend on the tool. Compression accepts JPG, PNG, GIF and SVG. Convert to JPG accepts PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF and BMP. Check the selected tool for its supported input and output formats.

How can I make an image smaller without losing too much quality?
Start with balanced compression, then compare the downloaded image with the original. Stronger compression can reduce detail, and an already optimized image may not become much smaller. Keep your original file.

What is the difference between resizing and cropping?
Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of the whole image. Keep the aspect ratio to avoid stretching it. Cropping removes parts of the image to change the framing. Use resizing for a width or height requirement and cropping for composition.

Should I choose JPG or PNG, and what happens to transparency?
JPG suits photos when a smaller file matters; PNG supports transparent backgrounds and crisp graphics. JPG cannot preserve transparency: converting a transparent image to JPG fills the background. Converting JPG to PNG does not restore lost detail or create transparency.

Can I process several images at once?

Can I use the tools on a phone, and where are downloads saved?
Open imgtodo in your mobile browser and choose an image from your device. Downloads go to the location managed by your browser, usually Downloads or Files. If a download is blocked, use the download button on the result page and check browser permissions.

Will changing DPI make a photo sharper?
Changing DPI updates a print-density tag, not the number of pixels. It cannot add detail or fix a blurry image. For example, a 3000-pixel-wide image is 10 inches wide at 300 DPI. Check both pixel dimensions and DPI before printing.

How do I make product photos with consistent sizes and backgrounds?
Choose a canvas size, set the background, product scale and padding, then export the results. Automatic cutout works best with white or solid-color backgrounds. Check the edges and review the image requirements of your marketplace before publishing.
